How to Order Your Prom Flowers { Champlin Anoka Coon Rapids Area Florist }

Psst…Champlin, St. Francis, Blaine, Maple Grove, Coon Rapids, Elk River, Andover and Brooklyn Park and Anoka High School…it’s almost Prom time. (Though, you probably already know that.) If you’re going this year, there’s a good chance you’ll need to order some flowers, probably a corsage and boutonniere. There’s also a good chance that you’ve never done it before and may have no idea where to begin. (Don’t depend on your parents for this one…think about it, when’s the last time THEY ordered a corsage for Prom? 😉 ) We promise it’s not too hard — though waiting until the last minute will make it a bit more stressful. (And, waiting until the day of, and stopping in in your dress and tux, will make it the most stressful…and, we’ll probably laugh at you a little bit…while quickly making you something up. 🙂 Yes. This has happened a few times.)

There are three, main, ways you can order from us… In store (preferred), over the phone, or online. You don’t need to know flower names and types–all you need to know is what colors you would like (or just tell us what colors you are wearing) and what looks pretty to you. We will do the rest. (This is the only reason that stopping in is preferred…you can browse all of the colors, and designs we offer in person.) For both the corsage and boutonniere, plan to spend about 45-55 dollars (The higher amount is if you request premium flowers, or extras. *Edit: We updated this number, just a bit, to reflect tax. We had, previously, only quoted the base price.) You’ll pay when you order–so, when you stop in to pick your flowers up, it’ll only take you a minute.

 If you choose to stop in, all you have to do is head to the wall of bracelets and ribbons. We have a rainbow of different colors, and shades, all ready to have us add flowers. You just have to find the color that works best with what you’re wearing. (If you can’t find the color you want, we can customize something else for you.) Once you pick your bracelet, bring it up to us and we’ll work together to customize your flower choices. If you want a boutonniere, just tell us–we’ll make something up to match your corsage.  Then, let us know when you want to pick it up and we’ll have it all ready for you when you show up.

You can also call us. This is great if you don’t really need to look at the color choices, because you know just what you want. Or, if you’re wearing a basic color, and would like something to coordinate with it, calling us is a great option. We’ll work through it all with you right over the phone, and answer any questions you may have. Have your credit/debit card handy and you can pay right over the phone.

If you’re not a fan of stopping in, or calling…check out our website. Head to the Prom page on MainFloral.net and place your order right online. We have a pretty good color selection on there and you might find just what you need. This is also a great place to start if you just want to look at some pictures, and come up with some inspiration.

We hope this helps demystify the flower ordering around Prom time. We know that you guys have to do a lot of things, on your own, for the first time around Prom, so we figure any extra info can help calm nerves you may have about it all. Also, we’re here if you just have questions, yet aren’t ready to order yet–we love to help if we can.
