Brrrr! Are you staying warm this week? Main Street, here in Anoka, is a quiet place as we plunge into the deep freeze–not many folks out there shopping, and bumming around. (Can’t say we blame ’em. 😉 ) We have to give our delivery driver, and ALL the delivery drivers out there, so much credit this week–getting in, and out; over, and over–it’s not easy! (Not to mention slick roads, and high winds that are whipping the snow all around. Yikes!)
All the wintery stuff doesn’t bug some people though–especially our brave couple who got married this past weekend! The deep freeze hadn’t quite set in yet (we’re, literally, colder than Antarctica this weeks, folks), and it was just ‘regular’ cold for their wedding. The snow was falling lightly, and the view from the window of the Event Center of Bunker Hills area was absolutely magical. We supplied flowers for everything on their gorgeous day–from centerpieces, to corsages, to the alter, to the wedding party–we had an amazing time creating all of their floral designs! Transporting everything took a couple of trips, and each arrangement was wrapped in a couple of bags (to make sure the cold didn’t nip at any of the petals). Set up also took some time–but, every, single, part of it was so fun for us to be a part of!
Anyway, here are a few shots of what we put together for them…
Bonus shot–here’s what a little chunk of the shop looked like on Saturday morning. All of these arrangements were still in the ‘to-be-bagged’ line. 🙂 We had fun updating out Instagram, and Facebook, stories as we chronicled our behind-the-scenes process!
