Twin Cities Florist { Corona Virus Small Business Update }

Oh, you guys. ❤ Thank you for being here to read the blog today. So much is changing these days in the world of your favorite, little, local florist. One minute we’re getting ready, and prepping, for all of the Prom flower orders that we’re anticipating–and, the next, we’re struggling to keep the doors open in the midst of the Corona Virus Crisis. Being a small, family-run business is never an ‘easy’ thing…but, in these times, it’s so much more than ‘not easy’, it’s a daily struggle on levels we never anticipated. We love what we do, and have no intention of stopping, but to try to stay afloat in this current climate we have decided to cut our hours temporarily. Instead of staying open until six daily, we are now staying open until three. (We are still closed on Sunday, as always. 🙂 ) You can still place orders online 24 hours a day at: www.mainfloral.net

On top of reducing our hours, please know that our commitment to the safety of our customers is our number one priority. We are dedicated to the health and safety of every one of our customers, ourselves and our dedicated staff to remain committed to upholding the highest possible standards as we remain calm and focused. We are taking proactive measures, including the use of chemical disinfectants that kill viruses and bacteria. We have increased training for all staff members regarding health and safety practices and procedures.

We’ve placed hand sanitizer at our door for every one of our customers to utilize as they enter, and exit, the store.

Our delivery drivers are also equipped with hand sanitizer while delivering our fresh products. Sending flowers is such a beautiful way to let someone know you are thinking about them–despite the current climate of social distance and self-quarantine.

Anyway, as always, thank you for your continued support of our family business. We appreciate you more than you know.
